Notre Dame Basketball Odds

Since 2013, the Notre Dame men’s basketball team has played in the storied Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the toughest in all of Division I NCAA Basketball.

Notre Dame has appeared in 36 NCAA Tournaments, which puts them in the top 10 teams for total NCAA Tournament appearances all time. Although they did get to the Final Four once in 1978, the Fighting Irish also hold the record for most NCAA Tournament appearances without a National Championship or Championship Game appearance.

Notre Dame basketball betting lines explained

The basketball odds you find at Indiana online sportsbooks are fairly straightforward and easy to understand once you have an idea of what exactly the different numbers mean. A typical set of game lines will look like this:

  • Notre Dame +2.5 (-110) +122 O 146.5 (-110)
  • Duke -2.5 (-110) -144 U 146.5 (-110)

The first group of numbers is the point spread. The number in brackets beside the spread is the payout odds. Here, Duke has to win by three points or more, while the Irish can win outright or lose by two points or less. Both bets pay $100, plus your bet back, for every $110 that you bet.

The second group of numbers is the moneyline. Bet on Notre Dame at these odds and if they win, you win $122, plus your bet back, for every $100 that you bet. Bet on the Blue Devils at these odds and if they win, you win $100, plus your bet back, for every $144 that you bet.

The third group of numbers is the totals line. The number in brackets beside the line is the odds. Here, you're betting that the total combined score at the end of the game will be over or under 146.5. Get it right and you’ll win $100, plus your bet back, for every $110 that you bet.

Notre Dame basketball live betting and props

Since there are very few restrictions on live betting or props for college sports in Indiana, you’re free to bet on various Irish player and team props. You can also wager on live betting markets available during NCAA basketball games.

Most props surround specific stat lines. Live betting gives you the chance to bet on basic Notre Dame game lines at odds that change with the action, and it may also include additional quarter and half lines and props.

NCAA basketball live betting odds change at breakneck speed. You might want to use an Indiana mobile sports betting app, where you can get down bets fast enough to keep up.
