Hard Rock Casino Opens New Sportsbook In Gary

Sports betting has finally been introduced at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, with the recent opening of a retail sportsbook on the property.

The lack of a sportsbook at the Hard Rock, one of the most popular casinos in the state, was noticeably apparent.

Wagers are being accepted by the in-person version of Hard Rock Sportsbook, however, the Indiana online betting app is not yet available.

Sportsbook at Hard Rock Casino Opens

Almost a year has passed since the latest Indiana casino started its operations.

Hard Rock always had the intention of including a sportsbook in the building, but the execution of plans took more time than expected.

Now that the process has been fully completed, bettors can locate the sportsbook adjacent to the casino’s Hard Rock Cafe. The area is equipped with numerous screens showcasing odds and wagering choices, making the process straightforward for Hoosiers.

Also, Hard Rock Sportsbook provides a decent amount of betting kiosks for gamblers to utilize.

The introduction of an in-person sportsbook provides Hard Rock Northern Indiana with an additional competitive edge against its neighboring rivals. Given the high level of competition on both the Gary and Chicago sides of the state border, any added advantage is beneficial.

With the retail sportsbook now accepting bets, Hard Rock has reached the midpoint of its sports betting strategy for Indiana.

Online sportsbook coming soon

Hard Rock’s online sportsbook is also making its way to the Hoosier State.

The betting app obtained its temporary vendor license in January. This is the initial significant move towards establishing an online sportsbook in Indiana.

Hard Rock Sportsbook is on the brink of opening its digital platform for business. All that remains is finalizing preparations and overcoming the last few regulatory obstacles.

The retail version of the sportsbook indicates that sports betting is becoming a priority for Hard Rock in Indiana.

Even so, staking a claim in the state’s market will not be a simple task. In April alone, Hoosiers placed bets worth $360 million on sports. Therefore, when Hard Rock starts its operations, it will face a tough battle competing with the existing 13 betting apps in Indiana.
