MaximBet Sportsbook Launches In Indiana And There’s A Promo

A new online sportsbook has been launched in Indiana.

MaximBet, the 14th online sportsbook of the state, announced its launch in Hoosier State on Sept. 20.

“MaximBet is firmly committed to providing the best sports betting experience worldwide, starting with exceptional content and a top-tier betting environment,” said Daniel Graetzer, the founder and CEO of MaximBet, in a statement.

Compared to the rest of the market, MaximBet is a relatively new online sportsbook. Apart from Indiana, it is only available in Colorado.

MaximBet, the sportsbook in partnership with Maxim Magazine, is owned by Carousel Group. The group is involved in a 10-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment.

This agreement enabled unprecedented market access to the sportsbook, as demonstrated by these deals with Indiana and Colorado.

The launch of MaximBet in Indiana features new technology.

According to an announcement by MaximBet, the launch of their online sportsbook in Indiana boasts cutting-edge technology and a superior betting experience. They have partnered with Kambi Group and White Hat Gaming for this endeavor.

They will jointly provide “leading market offerings”, including micro betting and a parlay product named Taser+. Kristian Nylén, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Kambi, stated:

“We are excited to launch MaximBet, as they aim to establish themselves as a top sports betting brand and provide an immersive experience for their players. Their focus on prioritizing customer needs makes their initial launch in Indiana a thrilling prospect for both entities, as well as for bettors in the midwestern state.”

MaximBet anticipates a burgeoning sports betting industry in Indiana.

The announcement from MaximBet comes on the heels of the Indiana Gaming Commission reporting a thriving Fiscal Year in 2022.

“Indiana casinos reported substantial yearly growth, contributing to record-breaking national industry revenues and an increase in Indiana tax revenues,” stated Greg Small, Executive Director of the Indiana Gaming Commission, in his report.

Indiana generated slightly over $608 million in gambling taxes in the Fiscal Year 2022.

The numbers for sports betting also saw a year-to-year increase. Indiana reported a total of $3.2 million in sports betting taxes last month, marking a 137.18% increase from September 2021.

There was a minimum increase of 30% in sports betting taxes during nine months of Fiscal Year 2022, compared to Fiscal Year 2021. Overall, there was a 38% rise in sports wagering taxes between Fiscal Year 2021 and Fiscal Year 2022.

MaximBet doesn’t intend to stop with Indiana.

MaximBet is just beginning its journey in the sportsbook industry. It has future plans to expand to:

  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • Ohio
  • Ontario

Graetzer stated in a release that market agreements have already been established for those locations.

We are eager to swiftly introduce our distinct value proposition to players across the nation. The timing couldn’t be better as we kick off just as the NFL season is getting underway, and with NHL, NBA, and college basketball events just around the corner. We are extremely optimistic about our future.

MaximBet boasts big-name partners

Firstly, Charlie Blackmon, an outfielder for the Colorado Rockies, made history by becoming the first MLB player to endorse a sportsbook. Blackmon, who is passionate about the outdoors, promoted the potential benefits MaximBet, along with the rest of the industry, can make using tax dollars.

For instance, in Colorado, a specific percentage is allocated to the Colorado Water Plan, which finances conservation initiatives. Later in the summer, the hip-hop sensation, Nicki Minaj, became an investor and ambassador for the brand.

“Never have I been prouder of a collaboration,” said Minaj.
