MaximBet Sportsbook Launches In Indiana And There’s A Promo
There’s a new online sportsbook in Indiana.
The state’s 14th online sportsbook – MaximBet – announced its arrival in Hoosier State on Sept. 20.
“We’re unwavering in our commitment to bring sports fans the greatest sports betting experience in the world, and that starts with premium content and a world-class betting environment,” MaximBet founder and CEO Daniel Graetzer said in a statement.
MaximBet is a fairly new online sportsbook compared to the rest of the market. Outside of Indiana, it’s available in just Colorado.
Carousel Group owns MaximBet, the sportsbook partnered with Maxim Magazine. The group is a part of a 10-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment.
This agreement unlocked exponential market access to the sportsbook, such as these deals with Indiana and Colorado.
MaximBet Indiana launch features new technology
The Indiana online sportsbook launch features state-of-the-art technology and betting experience, according to MaximBet’s announcement. The sportsbook partnered with Kambi Group and White Hat Gaming.
Together they’ll offer “market-leading offerings,” such as micro betting and a parlay product called Taser+. Kambi Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Kristian Nylén said in a statement:
“We are thrilled to go live with MaximBet as they seek to become a leading sports betting brand and deliver an engaging experience to their players. Their customer-first mentality makes their debut launch in Indiana an exciting opportunity for both parties as well as bettors in the midwestern state.”
A growing Indiana sports betting industry awaits MaximBet
MaximBet’s announcement comes shortly after the Indiana Gaming Commission reported a booming Fiscal Year in 2022.
“The industry broke revenue records nationally and Indiana casinos posted significant year over year increases that boosted Indiana tax revenues,” Indiana Gaming Commission Executive Director Greg Small said in his report.
In Fiscal Year 2022, Indiana generated a little more than $608 million in gambling taxes.
Sports betting numbers jumped year to year as well. Last month, Indiana totaled $3.2 million in sports betting taxes – a 137.18% jump from September 2021.
Nine months in Fiscal Year 2022 showed a minimum of 30% growth in sports betting taxes from Fiscal Year 2021. In total, sports wagering taxes rose 38% from Fiscal Year 2021 to Fiscal Year 2022.

MaximBet doesn’t plan on stopping with Indiana
The sportsbook is just getting started. In the near future, MaximBet has plans to expand to:
- New Jersey
Market agreements are already in place for those locations. Graetzer said in a release:
“We will move quickly to bring our unique value proposition to players throughout the country. To begin now just as the NFL season is revving up and with NHL, NBA and college basketball action right around the corner, we couldn’t be more excited about our future.”
MaximBet boasts big-name partners
First, Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon made history as the first MLB player to partner with a sportsbook endorsement. Blackmon, an avid outdoorsman, advocated for the good MaximBet (and the rest of the industry) can do with tax dollars.
In Colorado, for example, a certain percentage goes to the Colorado Water Plan, which funds conservation actions. Then, later in the summer, hip-hop star Nicki Minaj joined on as an investor and ambassador for the brand.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been prouder of a collaboration,” Minaj said.
