MaximBet Sportsbook Setting Its Sights On Indiana Launch

MaximBet Sportsbook is heading towards Indiana.

Carousel Group is extending its betting app to Indiana and Iowa. The sportsbook is already operational and accepting bets in Colorado.

MaximBet is still in need of a license in Indiana.

Numerous companies are eyeing the Indiana sports betting market. MaximBet is the most recent sportsbook to target this state.

For nearly a year, MaximBet has been tentatively making its way to the Hoosier State.

However, the company has not made significant strides towards officially launching in the state until today.

Carousel has declared Indiana as the next state they plan to expand into.

MaximBet is progressing, but there are still some regulatory obstacles to overcome.

In Indiana, online sportsbooks must first obtain a temporary vendor license. Securing this license from the Indiana Gaming Commission is the initial significant move towards starting their operations.

Part of this procedure requires securing a partnership with a casino. Before they can begin accepting bets, online applications in Indiana must establish a connection with physical casinos.

MaximBet is thankfully already ahead of the game in that department.

Caesars partners with MaximBet

The Carousel Group has formed a partnership with Caesars Entertainment, which is facilitating the company’s market access in Indiana.

To put it differently, MaximBet, upon its launch in Indiana, will collaborate with one of the Caesars casinos in the state.

The company has ownership of three properties in Indiana.

  • Horseshoe Hammond
  • Indiana Grand Casino
  • Harrah's Hoosier Park

The question then becomes, which casino will MaximBet be partnering with?

Hammond is currently partnered with Unibet, while Hoosier Park collaborates with Caesars Sportsbook.

MaximBet could naturally fit with Indiana Grand, as the casino has not yet partnered with any online platforms.

Additional sportsbooks are forthcoming.

Indiana may be the latest target for MaximBet, but it certainly isn’t the first sportsbook to do so.

The following betting platforms intend to commence operations in the Hoosier State within the year:

  • Hard Rock Sportsbook
  • SI Sportsbook
  • SBK Sportsbook
  • fubo Sportsbook
  • PlayUp
  • Betprophet
  • MaximBet

In 2021, six new sportsbooks launched their digital platforms in the state’s market.

MaximBet could potentially be the first new sportsbook to debut in Indiana this year, based on the timeline.

There are currently 13 legally operating online sportsbooks for gamblers in Indiana. However, by the end of 2022, this figure could significantly increase to well over 20.
