theScore Bet Sportsbook Launches In Indiana Just In Time For NFL Action

The ninth online sportsbook in Indiana has arrived.

TheScore Bet launched in Indiana on Sept. 17, following a few months of preparation work.

The sportsbook, which first launched online in New Jersey, has only recently begun accepting bets in Colorado a few weeks ago.

The launch of theScore Bet is timely as it only missed one week of NFL action, thus it can still cover the majority of the NFL season.

theScore Bet's unique approach

Given that theScore already operates a successful sports app, the company holds a unique position.

Its sports app is akin to the Bleacher Report app, ESPN app, and other competing apps.

However, unlike those other companies, we have sportsbooks to complement our regular media apps.

This is what sets theScore Bet apart and makes it unique in the Indiana market.

If you’re already a user of theScore sports app, your experience with the company’s sportsbook is set to reach new heights.

Similar to other sports apps, theScore also requires you to choose your favorite teams from your preferred leagues.

Given that the sports app and the sportsbook exchange data, shifting from the regular app to the sportsbook enables theScore Bet to utilize your preferred teams and leagues data. Consequently, it can provide you with personalized betting options that align with your preferences.

Therefore, the more you utilize theScore’s sports app, the more tailored theScore Bet can become to your preferences.

The book has the capability to learn from your past wagers. For instance, if you constantly place bets on the Colts, theScore Bet will prioritize Colts betting options for easy access.

Penn National and theScoreBet

In 2019, theScore signed a deal with Penn National Gaming to gain access to its sportsbook market.

The deal provided theScore Bet with a foothold in 11 different states, given that Penn has casinos throughout the country.

Ameristar East Chicago, one of Penn’s casinos, now has the sportsbook as one of its partners. It is also already the land-based partner of DraftKings.

The company is rapidly expanding, having launched in Colorado and Indiana within just a few weeks.

TheScore Bet will continue to expand into new states, as there are still plenty of states left in its market access deal.

NBA and MLB  partnerships

Given the extensive time it had to prepare due to the lengthy lead-up to its Indiana launch, theScore Bet was well-prepared.

The company was aware that their launch would coincide with a busy period of the year, as professional sports had resumed in full force after a few months of hiatus.

theScore spent the summer securing a new data partnership in anticipation of that.

Back in July, the company sealed a deal with MLB, which established theScore as an authorized gaming operator of Major League Baseball.

Essentially, theScore received access to official MLB data and permission to use the league’s logos on theScore Bet app.

Back in January, the NBA signed a similar deal with theScore.

The data partnerships will aid in enhancing theScore Bet experience. By receiving up-to-date information directly from the leagues, theScore will be able to stay current all year round.

Before starting to accept bets, sportsbooks are required by some states to utilize official league data.

This is why deals involving data, such as this one, are crucial, as they’ll assist theScore Bet in its ongoing expansion.

However, for the time being, the app won’t be launching in any other state anytime soon.

Hoosiers now have more sports betting options than ever, with the ninth online betting app rooted in Indiana.
