William Hill Doubles Up With Indiana Online Sportsbook Launch, Colts Partnership

William Hill has been running its operations in Indiana for a while now, but its absence from the online betting scene has limited its competitiveness for market share. However, this is set to change soon with the impending launch of the William Hill online sportsbook.

The Indiana Gaming Commission has given William Hill authorization to start accepting online bets, but not before Wednesday, Oct. 28.

This could indicate a new substantial competitor for market share supremacy.

Limited information on the launch of William Hill online in Indiana

William Hill has not officially announced that its app and website will begin accepting online bets on Wednesday, but it is highly likely that this will be the launch date.

The William Hill sportsbook app is available on the App Store for Apple iOS users. However, Android users need to visit the mobile William Hill website to find instructions for downloading the app.

Bettors can register their accounts and make their first deposits entirely online once the download is complete.

Likely, William Hill will also have a special bonus for those making their first deposit in the Hoosier State.

William Hill runs the retail book at Tropicana Evansville, a property belonging to Caesars. This may signify the start of a more focused attempt by Caesars to establish a strong presence in the market.

Since May, Caesars has been operating its own online sportsbook in Indiana.

However, it has not been successful in truly competing for market share with competitors such as DraftKings and FanDuel. Among sports bettors in particular, William Hill is a more recognized name.

Caesars intends to buy William Hill and is expected to incorporate Caesars Rewards into William Hill’s online sportsbook. Additionally, the William Hill brand is likely to be introduced to all of Caesars locations in the Hoosier State.

The serious market aspirations of the gambling giant are also clearly evident in another way.

Caesars and William Hill are supporting the Colts.

Caesars and William Hill have aligned themselves with one of the top sports entertainment brands in the state by becoming the official sports betting partners of the Indianapolis Colts.

Caesars is set to host a complimentary “Pick 6 Predictor” game on the Colts Mobile App, which will produce a range of questions prior to each game. They will award weekly prizes for accurate predictions. Also, all those who participate will have the opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas.

William Hill will gain visibility via Colts’ digital and physical platforms. This will provide exposure to a large number of sports enthusiasts, positioning William Hill at the same level as other operators in the state. The timing of the online launch is ideal for capitalizing on this increased brand recognition.

Sharon Otterman, the chief marketing officer of William Hill, stated that…

Last year, William Hill Sports Book expanded into the Indiana market, where it has enjoyed significant success. The recent collaboration between William Hill, Caesars Entertainment, and the Indianapolis Colts unites three major industry players. Together, they are revolutionizing how fans interact with sports during these unique times.

Bettors should anticipate a slew of advertisements for William Hill’s online sportsbook, as the online launch could potentially be just a few days away.

If Caesars can propel William Hill to the forefront of the Hoosier State sports betting market, its future investment of $3.7 billion will be worth it.
