• Experience luxurious dining at Copper Rock Steakhouse. Our menu features 42-day dry-aged steaks, lobster, gourmet desserts, and a selection of over 200 wines.
• Give Kankakee Grille a try for their wood-fired pizza, rustic cuisine, and extensive selection of craft beers. They also offer outdoor patio seating.
• Timbers offers a variety of food items such as hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, pizzas, onion rings, and other similar dishes.
• Visit White Birch Market, a coffee shop and gourmet market that also serves as the casino’s gift shop.

The South Bend Casino Bar, with its 25 seats, gives another choice for draught beers and speciality drinks. Higher-tier members of the casino’s loyalty program also have access to the W♣ Players Lounge (details below).

Both the Kankakee Grille and Copper Rock Steakhouse offer live music performances several nights a week for entertainment. In addition, Kankakee Grille hosts Live Trivia Night every Sunday, with Four Winds gift cards as prizes.

The History of Four Winds South Bend

After opening three casinos in Michigan – Four Winds New Buffalo (2007), Four Winds Hartford (2011), and Four Winds Dowagiac (2013), the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians constructed the Four Winds South Bend property. This $400 million project was opened on January 16, 2016.

Initially, Four Winds South Bend functioned as a Class II facility, providing only poker and a few electronic games. However, in 2021, the tribe successfully revised its gaming agreement with the state to include slots, table games, and a sportsbook, thereby expanding its range of game offerings.

The new compact also included a stipulation that no other casinos would be permitted in the South Bend area. In return, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians agreed to give the state 8% of their slot machine revenue.

In 2021, plans to significantly expand the casino were announced by the tribe, including the addition of a luxury hotel to the site. By August 2022, the casino had been expanded and unveiled, boasting 98,000 square feet of gaming space. Concurrently, the construction of the 23-story, 317-room luxury hotel is nearing its final stages.
